Step into a bigger seat.
Lead like you belong there.
Todd Webb
Executive Advisor & Coach
for leaders, and the teams
and organizations they lead
If you're reading this, something has likely changed for you recently.
A bigger title. A wider remit. More people looking to you for answers, and higher stakes attached to each one. From the outside it reads as a win, and it is. But there's a part of the step up that few people name out loud: the role you were excellent at has become a different role, and you tend to sense the gap before anyone around you does.
I've spent decades leading teams and building products, and I made that same move myself. What I learned is that the new seat doesn't ask for more effort. You already have effort. It asks you to lead differently, with more clarity, steadier judgment, and a sharper sense of what actually deserves your attention. That's a different kind of work, and it's the work I do with leaders now.
Sometimes that's one to one. Sometimes it's a whole leadership team, learning to lead at a level they haven't yet. And if you're reading this with someone else in mind, someone you're backing into a bigger role, I'm glad to talk about them too.
If any of this sounds like where you are, I'd like to hear about it. The way in is simply a conversation.
P.S. This year I started building with AI. Two apps in production. I'm not just advising leaders through this shift. I'm in it too.

"I wholeheartedly recommend Todd. He is a rare leader (in my 20+ year leadership development career) who combines technical expertise with exceptional people skills. I had the opportunity to collaborate with him on several leadership development initiatives, and I was consistently impressed by his ability to inspire and motivate not only his team, but leaders around him. He is a thoughtful and strategic decision-maker who always prioritizes the needs of his people. His ability to balance innovation and efficiency, a quality known as organizational ambidexterity, is truly remarkable. I've experienced outcomes of his coaching - empathy meets performance. It's simple, really: he is great - hire him."

“I came for productivity. I left with a life mission.
I started working with Todd to overcome the massive self-doubt that was preventing me from pursuing my goals. After our first session, I had a clearer sense of why the goal mattered to me and a challenge that pushed me beyond what I thought was possible.
Six months later, I walked away with something far more valuable: a life mission that resonates. Not some cliché about making a dent in the universe, it's something much more personal that provides clarity and guidance in my life.
And we only got there because Todd doesn’t just hear what you say — he hears what you mean. He cuts through the noise, surfaces what matters, and reflects back the parts of you worth building on.
He already sees the best in you — he just helps you see it too.”

"Todd's credentials speak for themselves; he's obviously an educated, intelligent, motivated, and capable individual on paper. What isn't obvious, however, is his ability to listen, reflect, and ask thoughtful questions that cut straight to the heart of an issue your talking through. His input is personalized, his guidance is opportune, and he will push you to just the right level of discomfort to foster personal growth."
